Sharyn Stevens (formerly Sharyn Akin) is a private math tutor for students of all ages and levels. I have been tutoring in the valley since 1988 starting as a student at Scottsdale Commumnity College. I received a BS degree in Computer Science Engineering at Arizona State University, and I have been tutoring ever since because I love math, I love helping people, and I enjoy the flexibility tutoring offers.

My 20 years of experience allow me to narrow in on problem areas, to present the material in a relaxed and easy to understand manner, and to help my students to become more confident in their abilities, hopefully eliminating the need for future tutoring for some. I have a fingerprint clearance card.
